Why organizational Learning is Important?

Organization Learning:
Organization learning is all about learning within the organization and knowing about strategical knowledge to overcome competitor.
Why it’s Important?
The ratio of change of things is very high. So, you have to keep yourself up to date. If you don’t do that then you never compete your competitor.
                                                                  “Knowledge is power”
Everyone agree with this line. But how it’s appropriate in the organization. That’s the question.one way is to hire new employees. Yes, hiring new employees bring new knowledge to the organization. But it’s not a good idea at all. Because the question is also rise what does organization do when there is no space for new employees.
Peter Senge (Founder of organization learning) also knew the same fact. He brought the idea of Organization learning.
“Teach your employees within the organization to improve their capabilities”
Let consider a football team. Their trainer tells them the story of a team with them they are going to play next match. They train them and tell them past history of that team. He trains them according to that statistics. The team also learn on their own! even at the last time, they curious to know how to tackle the new players what strategy we should have to apply to win.
That’s the thing, new strategies come with more and more learning. There are many benefits to creating a strong organizational learning culture, including:

  • Efficiency gain
  • increase productivity
  • increase income
  • organization achieve goal timely
  • Better understanding
  • Working more precisely
  • Save organization with bad past experiences
  • Decreased the employees turnover.
  • Developing leader at all level
  • Creating a culture of inquiry, adaptive capacity, and knowledge sharing (vs. knowledge hoarding)

A learning organization breaks down traditional silos and enables all areas to work together towards a common vision.
